• @gerikramertattoos This was such a perfectly simple request. “California poppies, maybe something else” - so I got to really run with it a bit, which is always kind of fun. There’s a certain joy I get in creating something with almost no direction - but don’t get me wrong - I absolutely do need a direction to start. I’ve always look at our collaborations the same way I look at motorcycle trips. We plan where we start, and where we want to finish, but how we get there is a little bit open. I think it’s the best way to really see where we can end up, and sometimes the new things we discover end up having the most value.+++++++++++++++++++My books are closed to new submissions, because you have all completely overwhelmed me with really great projects!! They will not be reopening until February 2022.
